Welcome to Evolve Montessori!
I’m Jenna, the owner and brains behind this Montessori enterprise. I am a mom of two beautiful children, Lucy and Axel and have been married to my supportive husband since 2016. I am a born Newfie (Newfoundland) and moved to Calgary, Alberta at the beginning of 2012. Prior to becoming a stay at home momma, I taught in the private Montessori sector for 5 years and have continued to educate myself on all things child development ever since.
I completed my Montessori teacher training at the New England Montessori Teacher Education Center in Massachusetts, USA. I am a certified Montessori Directress with The American Montessori Society and am MACTE (The Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) accredited. Along with this, I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree with an English Major from the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
I love spending as much time outside as possible and especially love camping. When I am not taking in all things nature with my family, I can usually be found hanging out with my sister and mom.
I strive to educate today’s parents and caregivers on the Montessori Philosophy and why it is so important to follow the natural development of a child from the beginning. I teach the Montessori method with a modern approach that allows it to fit into every lifestyle and helps your child discover their full potential.
